Alex Campbell joined the HB Architecture team as an Architecture Graduate in 2014 after completing a Bachelor of Architectural Studies at Unitec Institute of Technology.

After two and a half years, she returned to tertiary study to complete her Masters of Architecture at Victoria University of Wellington.

Between her studies, Alex worked with the talented HB Architecture team on a large range of projects – from the Waitangi Museum and Peninsula Golf Club to Te Kakano and buildings on Mt Ruapehu.

At the completion of Alex’s Masters in 2019, she continued to live in Wellington and work as an architecture graduate for JTB Architects. She then made the decision to move back to sunny Northland and re-join the team at HB Architecture.

Her passion began at a young age, watching her father, a boat builder, build several homes throughout her childhood. This, along with her love for drawing, sparked an early interest in architecture, building and design.

Alex enjoys the challenge and continual learning process which architecture offers through its multi-disciplinary nature.

When not in the office, Alex spends time renovating her own home in Parua Bay or you’ll find her wakeboarding, surfing, motorbike riding, free diving, snowboarding, skateboarding or socialising with friends.
