The end of summer if fast approaching and as a team we’ve been reflecting on the inspiring projects that we’ve had the pleasure to work on over the past few months

Residential: Matapouri Pavilion

We worked with the team at Pete Brown Construction on this unique project, nestled within the tranquil Northland landscape.

The brief? A ‘modern sleep out’. We designed the house to be simple. Creating a modern, uncluttered and minimal enclosure for casual yet comfortable living.

When the large sliding doors open, the deck expands out into the Tutukaka Coast, celebrating and connecting with both the view and surrounding hills.

Commercial: Te Rau Aroha

While this project officially opened in February 2020, we celebrated the 1 year anniversary of the opening of this incredible project, by getting it photographed and added to our online portfolio.

This was our 7th project completed on the treaty grounds in Waitangi – which will always hold a very special place in our team’s hearts.

Residential: Waikaraka Residence

This is an exciting small house situated in the hills overlooking Whangarei Harbour. The footprint of the house is just 110 m2 with open plan living and 3 bedrooms focussed on the distant views.

The building is in its early stages with the foundations and floor slab being poured and block-work due to start.

A very exciting time for all as we see the physical form of the building take shape on the site. We’ll keep you in the loop with the progress!

Commercial: Dargaville

This two storey commercial building in the Dargaville township is very quickly taking shape.

The team of contractors under the leadership of Canam Construction are managing the very tight site with great care, with the resulting work being completed to a high standard.

Piling is complete, foundation beams are poured, the floor slabs are going down and at the time of writing this newsletter, the mainframes of the building structure are standing.

There are certainly some exciting developments around the region, and as a business, we’re privileged to contribute to these great projects.
