NDAT, LPB Design 1
Matt Andrew graduated in 2004 from Northland Polytechnic. With over 12 years of experience in residential and commercial design and draughting, Matt has completed more than 250 projects within the Northland and Auckland regions. Matt joined HB Architecture in 2016 as an Architectural Technician; bringing with him his extensive experience and an eye for fine drawing.
Matt loves traveling and all outdoor and action sports – from squash to skiing and everything in-between! He does have a particular passion for hitting the trails on his mountain bike in his spare time, with his highest sporting achievement winning the U30 age group at the World 24hr MTB champs in Canberra in 2013. Matt also enjoys a busy home life with a growing young family, which includes a pet rabbit his son calls Bundy.
Within HB Architecture, Matt prides himself on his quality draughting skills and enjoys working on a wide range of projects. He believes that as well as great design it is very important to understand the mechanics behind a building, understanding how it will perform in a given environment over time. Matt finds it very rewarding to follow a project through from the initial design into the documentation and construction phases, and on to completion and ultimately, occupation.
